As a cradle Catholic, I’ve been told that you shouldn’t sleep with someone you’re not married to, but what if the plan is already to get married. We’ve been together for two years now but I’m 17,f and he’s 18,m so we can’t get married yet. We’re making other big commitments together such as adopting a dog together and I’m helping decorate his apartment because soon it’ll be our home. Why can’t we sleep together if we’re getting ready to get married? I’ve looked in the catechism and found nothing regarding this specifically.TL;DR if we’re already planning on getting married within two-three years why can’t we have sex? via /r/CatholicDating https://ift.tt/3ex3A0B
