Hi! Sorry to be the November 1st person thinking about this, but Im a planner and am trying to give myself time. Growing up we had some decorations that had been passed down for generations. Either because they were better quality or hand made. I still have a few pieces that I received after older members of the family passed away. Over the years I’ve collected a few special decorations or made some myself but I don’t have enough to do my whole house and I’ve never decorated outside. This is the first year that I’ve lived in a forever home and not a rental and would like some direction of where I can look for quality pieces that will last a long time (or suggestions on how to store/care for items to make them last a long time.)I feel like a lot of what is out there for mass consumers is cheap and not meant to be passed down to the next generation. via /r/BuyItForLife https://ift.tt/3oHvZWp
