Going to be moving and have a 40 breeder male guppy tank but need to rescape the tank in the process to reset an algae issue. I bought extra filters for the move and have them running on a 30g planted shrimp tank and one female guppy with algae free water to prime the filters in addition the existing filtration that was on that tank.I have an extra 40 breeder that I can use to set up their new tank the day we move the furniture and most stuff. But I am only going to have 24-36 hours before I need to move the boys to their new home. With two established Marineland Penguin 150 bio wheels, live rock from the previous algae free shrimp tank and new substrate and a dose of stress guard is it possible to jump start the cycle in <24 hours to protect my friends? They are tough (for guppies) but this is their first move since leaving the grow out tank a few feet away. /cryPS: what is the best way to catch and bag up an entire tank? Am I right in thinking i should rencor all decor and drain the 40 breeder down to 60-75% to minimize stress as I capture everyone? via /r/Aquariums https://www.reddit.com/r/Aquariums/comments/jpijdq/moving_established_tanks/?utm_source=ifttt
