The benefits came after 3 months


In my (34m) case, this is the way it happened. I had hoped it would help with my insomnia; it didn't. I had hoped it would somehow change something.By itself, it didn't.Now of course I have changed a lot since. The thing is, I also have been working a lot and sleeping too little. So, I kind of couldn't see the benefits, apart from watching good shows and movies, and reading a bit.But last two weeks were vacations for me, and I finally saw the real effect. Instead of mindlessly playing all day, I finally looked at my appartment and saw the mess it was.I actually knew I had to do this. It was constantly in my mind but I finally had the time to start working at it. It took me the whole two weeks. Sorting, dumping useless stuff, re-organizing, repairing, cleaning. And I'm not even done yet, I could still use some decoration that would make my place my place. But I now have a headstart and can go back to work with a peaceful mind, with a to-do list that is finally manageable, and that will not burden me every single night when I come back home.I think that in my case the benefits will continue to appear over the whole year, with the ability to finally work, one step at a time, towards becoming the man I wanted to be.Edited Tl;dr: It can take time to see the benefits but they are there, because you'll finally have time to reflect and work on yourself... And real-life work takes time to achieve, but when it's there, you know why you did it.
