Miss Bun's Easter Adventure

On the day of Easter, I came to the field to begin the festivities. I saw a field before me, of a massive park with some nice tall grass, tall strong oak and cedar trees, and a playground and pavilion nearby.It was decorated in all sorts of Easter colors, with streamers and tassels and egg lights and bunny statues, which was strange. Even stranger is no one was around and all was quiet under the overcast sky.Before me, someone came out. A friendly happy bubbly woman clad in a bunny outfit like dress with strangely realistic bunny ears and...red eyes? I thought it might be a type of colored contacts? She then said, "Welcome, welcome! My name is Miss Bun and I will be hosting the Easter Activities for today. Right now, we are doing everyone's favorite Easter event, an Easter Egg Hunt! So, are you ready to begin?"I then asked, "Err...where is everyone else?"She then laughed and said, "They're around. You might run into them soon. So, do you understand what you must do?"I then shook my head. She then said, in a rather snarky yet friendly tone, "What? You don't get it? Hunt Easter Eggs, duh. You gotta find as many as possible. If you do, I might give you something special."She then took out a basket full of plastic green grass and said, "Here you go, a basket for you. Now get out there! And please be careful along the way."I was like, huh? Be careful? What could she mean by that? I mean, it's just an Easter Egg hunt in what looked to be an empty park, right? That was the first mistake I made.The egg hunt started off with me wandering the park tile by tile, until I turned into a groove in the trees and say a giant plastic multicolored painted Easter egg. I was like, huh? Well, at least it's not a real egg, like a hard boiled egg that is common in Easter. I picked it up, and heard a strange growling sound from behind me. I turned around and saw...a monster that looked like a big plastic Easter egg that was quite large, larger then the now small egg that I picked up. It had sharp teeth where the egg separated and a big pair of angry eyes and was colored red with a rainbow stripe like oil horizontally down the middle of it's body. I was like, "WTF? What the frick is going on?!?" It then opened it's mouth to roar at me, and that is when I knew I had to escape!I ran, and the creature bounced after me by jumping. I made a way for escape towards the park's thicket and hid myself, and it passed by, seemingly not knowing where I was, and passed by harmlessly.I was in shock. What the hell was that thing? I remember what the bunny lady said about being careful now. Now I was curious as to what is going on and decided it would be best to leave and head home, but as I tried to exit the park, the space distorted and brought me to the other end of the park! It was like some sort of weird fairy subspace trap. I realized I was trapped with what I could only describe as some sort of monster. I gulped and wondered, is it alone? Could there be others? I guess I have no choice but to collect more eggs, since there's nothing I could do.There was another egg under the pavilion which was like the other egg that I had picked up earlier. I touched it and it got added to my basket as if by magic. I didn't notice anything odd, but I felt like someone, or something, was watching me, yet no one was there.I then spied an egg in the hollow of a nearby tree, and picked it up and grabbed it, but then! Suddenly! Another monster appeared. It was big and yellow and sugary. I realized what it was. It was a giant peep! But something was off. I had big black dots where it's eyes would be that looked empty and full of death, and from them, bled some hyper realistic blood. And then it let out a blood curdling screech and headed after me with high speed. I grabbed a nearby stick to defend myself, and to try and knock it out of the air. It's beak grabbed the stick and broke it in half with little effort, and it charged at me with a falcon like dive from the air. I dove quickly into a bush and it missed, and I ran towards the lake which was in the park, since there was construction going on last time I was here, and I found an old workman's axe. I wondered if I could destroy the creature with this. It charged at me again from the air, and dove at me, so I slid underneath it like at baseball practice and cut it in the chest, and it started to bleed out and flew down, down, down, into the lake and turned into a pile of blood and bits of sugar as it dissolved into it. I breathed a sigh of relief. I survived...for now. But decided to keep the axe at my side, should I need it for other monsters.I decided to keep looking for more eggs. There was bound to be some nearby. In fact, there's one by the swing set, set on the edge of it. I had a feeling there was more in this area. But this one is easy. Nothing eventful happened, but as I got into the playground's equipment during my search, I saw something patrolling the area. A rather large dark brown chocolate bunny? Only with sharp like teeth and alive and had blank empty white eyes. It would probably not be a good idea to run into it, so I decided to stay stealthy and avoid being seen. There was an egg at the top too. I grabbed it, and that rang a bell trap that was making a lot of noise. I was like, "Oh no." and suddenly! The chocolate bunny was bounded my way!I slid down the slide and began to run away, yet the chocolate dark bunny came at me, with terrible sharp teeth like it was the killer rabbit from Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. I wanted to fight it, but as I swung at it, it dodged, and bit into my arm and it bled, and I dropped my axe, and it started at me again. I had to get away, so I headed up a tree to a ranger's station to avoid the beast, it crashed into the tree trying to get me, and I reached the top, where another egg was hidden. I then took the zip line and escaped in a very fast fashion to get away from the killer chocolate bunny. I wanted nothing more to do with it.I then resumed my search for the next egg, and headed into the forest, figuring that I would be able to avoid the creatures by heading deep inside. It was a maze inside, and as I walked about, I came to a small abandoned playground that was part of the old playground that was part of the park 30 years ago, and I found an egg in the center of it.I then heard a voice behind me. A familiar female voice. I turned to see the bunny lady who had set all this up. She then said, "How's the hunt going?"I then said, "There's monsters trying to kill me at every turn."Miss Bun then says, "Yeah, about that. They're some renegade evil creatures that are originally from Easter Island."I asked her, "How do you know that?"She then said, "I set all this up for you and the other children, as my job. I didn't expect them to come though."I then asked, "Your job? What is your job?"She smiled and said, "I am an Easter Bunny, you see." she then spied my arm and then said, "One attacked you severely?"I then say, "Easter Bunny? Easter Island? I don't understand. What is going on?"She then said, "It is a great conflict, I won't go into details, but basically, Easter Island is home to me and the other Easter Bunnies and spirits of Easter, you see. And eh, those creatures are from there that you saw, yet they were corrupted by our enemy, the Boogeyman. Therefore, I must ask that you, eh, find a way to escape this place."I then say, "But I tried. It just returns me to the park."Miss Bun then says, "Ah right. I believe you must defeat the evil one who set this up. She is a Easter Bunny, like me. If you see her, you should eh, find a way to kill her. I don't know where she is, but if you are playing the game of hunting Easter Eggs, you are bound to run into her. After all, these creatures wish to disrupt the festival and are succeeding."I then asked, "Why do they want to kill me?"Miss Bun then said, "They want to stop Easter, and the best way to do that is to make it into a bloody event."I then said, "So...they want to kill me to stop the festivities?"She then said, "If hostile monsters were out to kill you, wouldn't that ruin the mood of any festival?"I then asked, "What about you?"She then said, "I'm trapped too until she can be found."I then asked, "What do I do if I find her?"She then handed me a rather normal looking curved dagger and then said, "When the time comes, I want you to kill her with this." I was freaked out. Kill someone? I mean, ever after all this? I don't know how to respond to that, but I need something to defend myself, so I took it.I knew what I must do. I had to find this other Easter bunny and kill her to escape? At least that's what I hoped. I guess I should find more eggs and continue on my way.As I headed out of the forest maze and to the pavilion again, I was confused, as the space seem distorted and I ended up back here, though I don't remember. Maybe I did get lost in the forest? I definitely remember the south path. Perhaps the spacial distortion from earlier is at work? Well, no matter, because there, before me, was another rabbit eared girl, clad in white with rainbow lines on the hem of her cute gossamer silk like dress, and with dark chocolate like skin this time. She had friendly eyes too. Is she the other Easter bunny? The one who had trapped me here? If so, why was she just her.She then said, "Oh hello. I'm Chocolat. You must be having a bad time on this holiday? I'm so sorry."I then said, "You would know, right? Didn't you trap me here?"She then said, "Yeah, I did create the space trap, but it wasn't meant for you, it was meant for them."I was confused. Them? Did she mean that other Easter bunny? Or the monsters? I think she might be trying to confuse me. I then said, "You know what's going on, don't you?"She nodded and said, "I did it to trap a criminal from my world and her cohorts in this space to prevent them from causing chaos in the real world."I was like, huh? We aren't in the real world anymore? I then asked, "What do you mean?"She then said, "Have you meet a white eared bunny lady with red eyes?"I decided to not reveal this. And said, "No?"She then said, "Ah, well she's dangerous. And a murderer. She was banished from Easter Island because she murdered a couple of the other Easter Bunnies and shattered our holy magical Faberge Crystal Easter Egg to pieces that had been protecting our island for ages. She wanted it's magical power for herself. Does any of that make sense to you? If not, that's okay since you are a human after all."I then said, "I heard you were dangerous thought?"Chocolat then said, "Huh? Well, I see. It's okay if you don't trust me, after all that's happened here, yeah? Why don't I take you out of the subspace trap and you can go home and have fun? After all, it's too dangerous for you to be here, what with a murderous Easter bunny and those monsters."I wasn't ready to trust her. I wondered though who was lying. Was it her? Or the red eyed Easter bunny? I couldn't be sure. But I wanted to go home. What if it was a ploy to trick me and kill me? Fear began to rise in me and I took out the knife and said, "No! I won't go anywhere with you!"She seemed a bit surprised and asked, "Where did you get that knife? Please, put it down and let's talk about this rationally, okay?"Then I heard a voice behind me say, "Don't trust her. She will kill you as soon as you put it down."I looked over my shoulder to see the red eyed Easter bunny. I took a step back, and said, "I don't want to be involved in this. Just let me go home, okay? I really don't want to die here."Chocolat then said, "Please, it's okay. I'll be here to protect you. Please, let us leave peacefully together and send you on your way and-"Miss Bun cut her off and said, "She's lying! I know she plans to kill you! Kill her, and it will make the barrier fall so we can leave together. If you do, I will give you a very special reward, yeah?"Chocolat then said, "Don't fall for the bribe or her tricks! She's dangerous and wants to break the barrier to kill people. Don't let her do that!"Miss Bun then said, "If you won't do it, give me the knife."I shook my head and didn't want to give it. The white eared Easter Bunny grew impatient and said, "Give it. Now."At her increasingly hostile glare and her approaching me, I decided to get away as quick as possible and make a run for it away from this pair of freaking rabbit ladies. Of course, the red eyed one started to chase me, and the chocolate eared one started to chase after her, saying, "Please, wait!" I didn't want to though, and ran away for the forest.I ran and I ran, until I could run no more, and hid inside of the roots of a large tree to try and recover. The red eyed Easter bunny then said, "Where are you, little human? Don't you want a fun time this holiday? If you come out, I'll make it extra special."I remained hidden from her. I heard her then take out something that sounded like a knife. She then said, "Very well. It's a shame. We could have been great friends, you and I, but now I'm afraid you must die."I took the knife out and prepared for the worst. The red eyed bunny searched the area, and then, after a bit, came to the tree hollow and said, "There you are!" and she grabbed me and pulled my wrist, forcing me to drop the knife. She then grabbed me by the hair and took her blade to my neck.Chocolat then said, "Stop!" and came down, carrying a large mallet with her.Miss Bun then said, "If you come any closer, I will kill him."I was terrified, as the knife was already cutting into my neck. It really really hurt. I knew the red eyed bunny girl would kill me. I didn't want that, so I stepped on her foot and did a headbutt into her face to knock her back. She then said, "Big mistake!" And came at me with the knife to try and tear me apart, but the other Easter bunny smacked her in the head with the hammer so hard that Miss Bun was bleeding out on the ground, clearly on her last leg, as she coughed up blood and passed out from blood loss.I sighed, wondering if it was over. It was, right? The brown eared girl then said, "Thank you. I have a feeling without your help, she would not have been subdued."I looked at the now dead crazy eyed rabbit, Miss Bun. Chocolat then said, "Now, I will take you out of here. Are you ready?" I nodded and then she smiled and said, "Great!"She took me to the edge of the park and opened a tear in it with a magic hand sign or something. She then said, "I'm terribly sorry you got mixed up in this. As an Easter Bunny, it is my duty to protect people and ensure a happy holiday for all."I then said, "Err...it wasn't your fault. I guess."Chocolat then took something out and said, "Here you go."She gave me a big golden egg made of golden giant egg that was made of solid gold. I then said, "Err...thank you." and left through it.It was a crazy and rather horrific experience, yet I was quite happy with my egg. I am still confused as to what is going on and why it is happening, and have many unanswered questions regarding to whole thing.
