Military fiancé

Hey there! New to this page and decided to post cause this girl needs some help. Here’s the deal:My soon to be fiancé is in the military and so I’m working around his schedule with all the wedding planning. We are wanting to get married April 2021. Can’t set an actual date yet because his work is unpredictable and always changing so we don’t always know when he’d be able to take leave and fly home. (We live in different states) But based on the info we have now April should be a safe bet. I want to get all the planning done that I can that doesn’t need a date. It has been difficult to say the least. I’m wanting to keep it as cheap (what even is a cheap wedding lol) as I can since I want to it to be small and simple. I’ve got a bit of time on my hands until then and I’d love some DIY decor ideas and other wedding hacks.Where can I start in my planning and arranging?
